Andrea Green was born and raised in Michigan before moving to Ohio, where she spent the next thirteen years. After a short chapter in the mountains of southwest Virginia, she is now back in Ohio and happily writing romance novels set in the Midwest.

Andrea has been compulsively (if not always regularly) writing since she was nine years old. She completed her first novella at age seventeen and her first novel at thirty-three. (They’re both terrible. Please don’t ask to read them.) Along the way, she earned a BA in History from Oakland University and an MA in Public History from Wright State University, started a family, and slowly learned what it actually means to build a writing life.

Today, Andrea writes romantic fiction rooted in hope, connection, and everyday moments — stories that reflect the places and people of the Midwest. She works at the library in her favorite Ohio city, which she lovingly refers to as her unicorn job. Through her work connecting readers with books, stories, and community resources, she credits library life with “forcing the issue” when it comes to writing and helping her adapt to the rhythms and discipline required of a working romance author.

When she’s not writing, Andrea enjoys reading, baking, walking, playing tennis, and continuing her lifelong love affair with stories in all their forms.
